‘Frosty the Snowman’ Comes Back to Life

Frosty the SnowmanA bad magician entertains a class Christmas party, but his lame tricks can’t keep the kids out of the Christmas Eve snow. They build a giant snowman, and little Karen makes the head because “The head is the most difficult part.” They start to sing the now-classic song in praise of Frosty the Snowman before the magician’s hat lands on Frosty’s head, and he comes to life.

So begins Frosty the Snowman, a heartwarming half-hour 1969 TV special narrated by Jimmy Durante with a hit holiday song, too.

Now, more than 40 years after the animated show first aired on CBS, it’s finally available on iTunes for $9.99. As a special holiday gift to a pair of lucky readers, we have two (2) download codes to the beloved classic. Just tell us why you want to see Frosty the Snowman again in the comments section below, and if we like your answers, we’ll see what we can do!
