1980s Action Icons Get Full of ‘Mucho Machismo’

San Francisco gallery Spoke Art recently had an incredible exhibition called Mucho Machismo, with various artists’ takes on action icons from the 1980s. It had all the era’s biggest names, and for a reasonable price, you can still buy limited-edition prints of your favorites. We thought we’d share a few of our favorites here.

Alan Hynes, “Scarface”

Jon Smith, “Hast La Vista Brother”

Jon Smith, “You Vil Lose”

Oliver Barrett, “Up, up, down, down…”

Smithe, “They Live”

Tim Doyle, “It’s Always Sunny On Mars”

Tim Doyle, “Murphy Delivers The Law”
